Hair Tips For Men

HD TV cameras have made anyone who works on-camera hair-aware. Flyaways show up worse that a squall line a radar map.

For men, this can be a huge distraction.

Blowdrying your hair with a brush and blowdryer makes a difference. Add a bit of pomade or styling cream to your hands and rub it through your hair. Style Sexy Hair Play Dirty Dry Wax Spray is a great alternative to pomade if you don't want to get your hands greasy. Brush your hair with your blowdryer.

PRO TIP
: ask your hairstylist to work with you to help you to do your hair on your own. Your barber or hairstylist knows what works...and can teach you to do it on your own.

Once your hair is dry, brush it and spray a bit of hairspray on it so that it stays in place.

TIP: spray the brush and then brush your hair. It looks more natural.   TreSemme has a great, light hairspray for men.

Don’t use a gel that will make your hair look greasy. If you’re bald or have a shaved head, wipe your head with a towel.

Clothing For Women

When it comes to dressing for the anchor chair, remember a few rules of thumb:
  • Wear bright colors that accentuate your hair and complexion.
  • Focus on finding figure-flattering silhouettes that aren't too billowy or loose but aren't too tight either.
  • Avoid too many layers, a drape-y sweater or heavy jacket. They add additional bulk.
